It’s hard to think that it’s been 10 years already.

That Saturday the 21st of September in 2013, hundreds of lives were impacted and changed forever as a result of a brutal terrorist atrocity against an unsuspecting public.

As a good friend has since reminded me, “ Life is What Happens To You When You’re Busy Making Other Plans”

How the actions of a few well trained, exceptionally disciplined, mission focused and highly motivated people can change the otherwise seemingly inevitable tragic outcome of an event that is thrust upon the unsuspecting public going about their daily lives.

As always we wish we could have done more, what we did do however had a major positive impact on an otherwise dire situation. Unfortunately these events are becoming more and more common so it’s important that the public and organisation are kept aware of the likelihood of becoming caught up in a similar situation. Training and awareness are key.
